There will always be levels of everything.
People have different levels of passion invested in their various interests and thus those levels determine their level of commitment to whatever the interest may be.
Servant hood is the subject at hand in this piece so let’s have a quick look at that subject.
Undoubtedly servant hood is the fastest route to the top of any man made social structure.
It is the fastest route to wisdom, character, maturity and efficiency.
Servant hood stretches your character far beyond what you thought your potential was and grants you favor which eventually means access to men who would usually never have the time to unload the wisdom of their successes on you... yet they do!
Every man longs to leave a legacy and the easiest place to leave it is in the ears and heart of a possible heir...
But all that is normal, everything said here you should already know and be doing... it is the next level that I would like to share and that level is the absolute.
Absolute commitment.
Chicken says to Pig: Hey bud, I'm committed to mankind! Every now and then they come and take the eggs I have laid and make themselves breakfast with it.
Pig replies: Committed? Pah! You're just a contributor. I'm the one who's committed, The thing most common with eggs is bacon! Now THAT'S commitment!
Commitment in it's purest form will cost you your life! Yes, YOUR LIFE! John 12:25
To lose your life does not mean to die. The highest form of servant hood is the living sacrifice, and that is what we call being under command.
Men under command are a different breed. They have the ability to know their own potential so that they are not threatened by authority yet will move as quick as lightning when even a suggestion is given.
These men are a breed apart, it is they who climb the ranks of life to authority and responsibility because they prove within a war that they can be trusted. My reference to war can be contextualized to any activity that requires brilliant teamwork and strategy.
It's the highest form of teamwork, the ultimate form of servant hood and by far the quickest route to promotion.
People promote good stewards. men who can be trusted. It's as simple as that!
Your perceived rights and emotional needs are often seen as pettiness, so realize this and get councilors in your life so that your authorities are not burdened with your immaturity.
You need to understand that some people will be coaches, motivating you along in life, encouraging you consistently, whereas those who can grow you are called mentors.
Mentors are the cold, almost uncaring men or women with the power to promote or demote you at will. They are often not your favorite humans but the ones you need the most for your efficiency training!
That means you serve them on their terms, not yours. You have far more to gain from their favor on you than they have to gain from you hanging around them!
Bottom line?
The next level of servant hood is selflessness. If you clearly understand that the world owes you nothing but that God desires to bless you, you will be fine.
God has opened a pathway through the impossible. A path through the deserts of intimidation. A beam of light through the darkness of despair.
This path is called humility, it is the road to your dreams coming true and the path to you reaching your potential.

Are you just a contributor to your destiny or are you truly committed?
